Grand Theft Auto V (often referred to as GTA 5), published by Rockstar Games in 2013, is the latest part of the GTA series. Much like its prequels, GTA 5 became one of the top games in the action-adventure genre.
In its overall atmosphere, GTA 5 sticks to the tradition of the series: an open world with fictional locales, modeled after real American cities, lots of shooting and racing, and, of course, carjacking. In GTA 5, the action takes place mostly in Los Santos and the countryside of San Andreas state.
Here, the world is bigger than in previous games, so there are far more places for your character to explore and have fun during the breaks between important missions. Although GTA 5 for PC is a single-player game, the online version has a multiplayer mode.
In GTA 5, you will have either a third-person or first-person perspective to play. There are three playable protagonists to choose from. Those are Michael De Santa, Franklin Clinton, and Trevor Philips. Michael is a middle-aged married man who used to rob banks and had been to prison; Franklin is a young gangster eager to make more money, and Trevor is a career criminal having a mental disorder, which makes him turn extremely cruel. Each character has a unique set of skills that can be boosted through the missions.
The plot, including each character's personal story, is rather complicated; you will have 69 story missions to complete, which would result in one of 3 possible endings. There is also a range of side missions, and open-world opportunities for fun, like watching TV with friends or going scuba-diving.
Realistic graphics are one of the GTA series' main features, which makes the gaming experience even more captivating. Here GTA 5 keeps up to the mark with its detailed background of the city and reality shows to watch on TV. There are also 17 radio stations to listen to; apart from that, GTA 5 is the first game to have an original score, which adds thrills to the atmosphere.
GTA 5 is certainly not to miss if you had enjoyed previous games from the GTA series. In case you had not, it seems to be an excellent place to start. We recommend GTA 5 to everyone who loves the action-adventure genre or just wants to dive into a high-quality open-world.
We are writing you back.
