10. Follow the 20-minute rule
If you feel like sleep won’t come to you that night, do the following: leave your bed and spend 20 minutes on some quiet, calm activity. Reading a book or sorting out your socks could do the trick. Just avoid sources of nervous agitation: cartoons, podcasts, loud music, news, etc.
