Fall Guys to Feature Knuckles of Sonic the Hedgehog Franchise

Crossovers are now commonplace in gaming. Characters from movies and books, anime, and other games may appear in the most popular franchises. So it happens to be an indie hit Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, which is soon to feature Knuckles, one of the beloved characters from Sonic the Hedgehog games.

While retaining the usual bean-like appearance, the Fall Guys version of Knuckles the Echidna features his overall red color. Among recognizable elements, there are also dreadlocks and gloves with these very knuckles that come with the top part of the costume, and the shoes with the bottom part. If you remember how the character looked in the Sonic games, you’ll appreciate how carefully he is represented in Fall Guys.

As usual, the costume comes in two parts – top and bottom, each one sold separately. The price of the two parts is identical, 11K kudos (the in-game currency of Fall Guys). Kudos can be earned as rewards for your in-game progress or bought separately for real money. No, the costume does not influence the gameplay. But if you are a streamer, it may make your character easier to track. You can also create a unique combination of various tops and bottoms.

The costume will only be available from November 12 to November 14. It is a part of the 30th anniversary of the Sonic franchise. The protagonist himself has already made his appearance on Fall Guys in 2020.

It’s not the only guest appearance in Fall Guys. In the summer of 2021, it featured AiAi from Super Monkey Ball, also published by Sega. Now it’s time for another Sega character to appear. Should we expect characters from Shenmue or Yakuza next?

Do you like Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout? What do you think about guest characters in it? And are you ready to spend your kudos on these costumes? Share your opinion in the comments if you wish!
