In the near future, Apple will release a classical music streaming application. It will combine Primephonic’s interface and some additional features. Primephonic service explained a reason for this collaboration: "As a classical-only startup, we can not reach the majority of global classical listeners, especially those that listen to many other music genres as well." That’s why the partnership with Apple will allow them to create an absolutely new application. It will offer diverse music genres, including a huge variety of classical music too.

So what will happen to the Primephonic now? It is closed for new users, and people who already have accounts will get a prorated refund. Besides, they will get access to Apple Music for free for six months. Apple offers various classical music albums. They are available in high-res and lossless audio. In addition, some of them have spatial audio support. Users will be able to enjoy their favorite composers at the highest audio quality level.

The application that is coming soon will have several additional functions. Apple wants to improve its searching service. You will be able to find a composition by composer and repertoire. Each music track will have a detailed description to allow users to find it quickly. New audio content is preparing for release. It will include Primephonic playlists and some exclusive music from Apple.

The vice president of Apple Music and Beats mentioned that their service admires classical music and strives to give fans the best experience in music listening. Apple Music gets new wonderful features. And it is preparing for the next great release that will offer even more interesting functions for the people who love classical music and other genres too.
