Fortnite Winterfest 2021-All You Need to Know
- 24 Dec 2021
Here we go again, another Fortnite Winterfest, and as usual, it comes with a flood of new skins and new cosmetics to celebrate the holidays and freshen up your locker.
Every year, Winterfest is one of Fortnite’s main attractions, with all the stops pulled out, and that’s exactly what we’re here for. As in previous years, you may expect to get gifts on each day of Winterfest, so make sure to return every day. Here is all the information you need for the 2021 Fortnite Winterfest, including when it begins and ends, challenges, skins, and more.
Fortnite Winterfest kicks off on December 16 and runs through January 6, so if you're reading this, you’re probably late to the party. According to Epic's official blog, for 14 days, the Winterfest lodge menu will offer players gifts to unwrap.
Epic also announced that two new skins would be available in the item shop during Winterfest. These new skins are based on Zendaya and her role in the Spider-Man movies, as well as new variations of Spider-Man based on his appearances in the MCU. You can get the various versions of the Spider-Man and Zendaya skins in the item store on December 16 at 7 p.m. ET.
Fortnite players will also get the chance to complete new Winterfest tasks for extra goodies and XP. For the period of Winterfest, a few gameplay tweaks have been made to Fortnite. These include the addition of snowball launchers, the sneaky snowman disguise, chiller grenades, and holiday presents. Also, Sgt. Winter, escorted by a couple of Red-Nosed Rangers, has been added as an NPC to the map, and they go around giving gifts but attack when provoked. There are also some updates that aren’t listed here, but that’s all for now. Have a merry Winterfest.
