Twitter has long been a platform used by businesses to promote their products and attract more customers. Now, Twitter is expanding its features to make the platform even more business-friendly. The company has launched a pilot of the so-called Shop Module where users can now show products that they sell right on their Twitter pages.

The Shop Module looks like a carousel of products and is located right under the description on a Twitter account. At the moment, this feature is tested only in the United States to see how it performs. According to Bruce Falck, the product lead at Twitter, the feature will help business owners in that it will ‘create a pathway from talking about and discovering products on Twitter to actually purchasing them.’ The module is created in such a way that you can not only see what a business is selling by scrolling through it, but you can also click on each product to read about it and buy. And you don’t even have to leave Twitter to do this.

At the moment, only a small selection of brands in the United States can use the module on their pages. The developers claim that testing this new feature will also help them learn how people prefer to shop on Twitter. The company is currently looking for ways to create more opportunities for businesses to reach their customers. It’s easy to get lost in the sea of different offers and shops, so Twitter is focused on making it possible for people to create professional profiles with various customizable features.

What do you think about this new feature? If you are a business owner, do you think it will be useful? Share your thoughts on this Shop Module in the comments below!
