TikTok TV Is Coming to Your House

TikTok TV is a new, free-of-charge service that will bring your favorite short videos to the bigger screen. It’s already available.

TikTok TV is Tencent’s attempt to enter a more traditional territory — the telly zone. Basically, it’s almost the same as the regular TikTok app.

However, there’s one unique gimmick. TikTok TV offers a convenient category feature: all content is divided by their genre.

So, you can scroll through the categories like Parody, Dancing, Cooking, tutorials, Animals, and so on, looking for a perfect bit to satiate your TT hunger.

The service is compatible with Google TV, LG Smart TVs, Samsung Smart TVs, Android TV, and Amazon Fire TV, which got it earlier than other systems.

What’s even more attractive is that TikTok TV is free of charge and requires no account.

Besides, you can watch its content basically risk-free together with your family. All categories and featured clips are labeled as “curated”. That means the app’s administration keeps a closer look on them so no nasty, unhealthy, or disturbing stuff will sneak in.

But again, even the tightest security measures can sometimes fail. And as it was recently discussed, TikTok has begun as one of the most popular platforms to upload “creative pornography”.

Even though it causes an instant ban, the trend is still quite popular, spawning a whole new genre in the sex industry. So, TikTok TV makes sure none of that creepy stuff — among which you could even find terroristic propaganda — will make it to your telly.

So, with TikTok TV, you can create a safe environment for your kids. Basically, almost all categories presented are family-friendly. And also there’s a ton of great recipes to discover and try.

TikTok TV is available for smart TV systems. Which TikTok other categories would you like to see there? Let us know in the comments.
